Agreeing to these terms

By creating a Liqa account or using myliqa.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you are using Liqa on behalf of a couple, family, or organisation, you confirm you are allowed to act for them.

Who can use Liqa

You need to be at least 18 years old to create an account, and the information you give us — your name, email address, and event details — needs to be accurate. Guests do not need an account; they simply open the link you send them.

Your account

You are responsible for your login details and for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password private, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.

Your invitations and content

Everything you add to Liqa stays yours: names, photographs, letter designs, wording, and guest lists. You give us permission to store, reproduce, and display that content only so we can run the service — for example, rendering your invitation for a guest who opens their link, or sending an email you asked us to send.

You confirm that you have the right to use what you upload, including any photographs or artwork created by someone else, and that you have permission to organise and share the event you are inviting people to.

Your guests’ information

When you add guests, you decide whose details go into Liqa. You are responsible for having a genuine relationship with those people and for following the privacy and anti-spam laws that apply where you and your guests live.

We process guest details on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please only use Liqa to invite people to real gatherings — not for marketing, newsletters, or bulk messaging.

Things you may not do

• Use Liqa for anything unlawful, deceptive, hateful, or harassing.
• Impersonate another person, couple, or organisation, or create invitations for an event you have no part in.
• Send unsolicited bulk email or promotional messages.
• Upload content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or privacy.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe, or reverse engineer the service, or access invitation links that were not shared with you.
• Upload malware, or use Liqa to distribute it.

If you break these rules, we may remove content, suspend your account, or close it.

Plans and payment

Liqa is currently free to use while we are in early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before anything changes for your account, and you will never be charged without agreeing to a price first. Where a paid plan exists, you will be able to cancel it at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Availability of the service

We work to keep Liqa fast and available, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Features may change, improve, or be retired as the product develops. Because your celebration matters, we recommend keeping your own copy of important details such as your guest list and final replies.

Our brand and templates

The Liqa name, the wordmark, the envelope mark, and the design of our invitation collections belong to us. You are welcome to use them as part of an invitation you create and send through Liqa, but not to copy, resell, or present them as your own product.

Ending your use of Liqa

You may stop using Liqa and ask us to delete your account and events at any time by writing to olayinkadoha@gmail.com. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law.

Disclaimers and liability

Liqa is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost data, or for guests missing an event. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Liqa evolves. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, for meaningful changes, let account holders know by email. Continuing to use Liqa after an update means the updated terms apply to you.
